Yesterday, as I do most every day, I was deleting the massive pile of spam email that I received from my inbox. Nothing new, until I happened to look at one of the ‘bounced’ emails that was in there. It was a typical ‘DELIVERY FAILURE’ email but the from address was listed as “Postmaster@unicorn.com.pl.” That’s right, there’s somebody who actually uses the site www.unicorn.com.pl for legitimate business.
I tried to browse to the site with Firefox and it failed miserably. Once I switched to IE things started to look like they were being rendered properly. Apparently they have experience in a number of exciting buzzwordsareas: Systemy pracy grupowej, komunikacji, zarz¹dzania dokumentami, CRM, B2B, Workflow.
Poltran.com translates the company history as such:
It has started activity as department of (squad of) firm in 1992 year from warsaw Unicorn Unicorn Poland. We dealt with distribution of equipment of computer firm DTK, fiscal cash offices and software (programming). We specialize in software of (programming of) firm presently lotus, but especially in system of group work - lotus domino /notebook. We use in daily work from our first day of activity this system. Firm was distributor of product of lotus initially, later as first and we have gotten title of lotus in knowledge (poznan) sole partner Qualified Bussines.

We become (stay) in year one of biggest in poland of internet operator 1996 partner. Systems of group work be placed from this time in our round of interest in technology lotus domino /notebook and internet. Both (both of) these domains are related in this moment soundly.
So yeah, if you were looking for a sweet tech job in Poland, Unicorn may be the hook up you need. Don’t wait too long though, because I totally might get all their jobs. The job application page is in the menu as Firma->Kariera.

If you went to work for these guys that would cement your rep as just plain old hard core crazy. It would however, be freaking awesome and I would probably move to Warsaw on spec and be paid more than twice what I get now for a nothing job.
For that matter, McDonald’s pays more than what I get now. Hmmm.

Yeah, I hear Home Depot has good benefits. Just remember, that with this crappy underpaid experience you should be able to find a new job that pays significantly better. Perhaps with a company that is named after a mythical creature?
